- Release of the LTM2214 Rev.1.0 enhanced line of sight single beam laser torque meter

- Advanced Measurement Solutions announces the release of the revision 1.0 of the LTM2214 line of sight single beam laser (LOS-SBL) torque metering system.
- This new revision of the LTM2214 system surpasses the previous one (Rev.0.0) due to its technical enhancements namely:
- 1) availability of extended temperature range (from -20°C to +70°C) (must be specified at the order)
- 2) laser source lifetime extended
- 3) quicker and easier laser beam power calibration
- 4) extended energy saving
- 5) simplified mounting and adjustment procedure
- 6) enhanced EMC design to match UK DEFSTAN standards
- 7) discs redesign
- 8) self contained overcurrent and short circuit protection (available for RM version only)
- 9) FMEA improved frame layout
- 10) stainless steel hardware
- The IP21 protection degree desktop/flush mounting version (DFM) will still be available but, due to the superior characteristics of the rugged version (RM), this latter is strongly suggested (IP55 protection degree steel box).
- Due to the many improvements introduced with Rev.1.0 of LTM2214 system, the previous revision (Rev.0.0) will be discontinued. In any case the technical support and the spares for the Rev.0.0 revision will still be maintained.
